Father Tony Tocco Father Tony is embracing aging just fine. Soon to be 73, he boasts about his cooking talents and quite often, he cooks for his parishioners. As the spiritual leader of one of Michigan’s most prestigious catholic churches, it was an honor to sit and talk about men, their aging issues and how spirituality plays a key role in men’s lives. Father Tony had very clear thoughts about the aging process for himself as well as the men in his congregation. We also had a wonderful opportunity to sit in on a men’s bible study outside near the historical, original St. Hugo’s. The men, all highly intelligent, seem to be well grounded and comfortable with their lives and the relationships they have with both the church and Jesus. |
